That said, there are several steps to creating a custom symbol for parametric PLC's. So it would be helpful to know a little more about what your needs are. Sometimes, extra attributes are just another thing that you have to remember to manually maintain. They could get overlooked during project-wide updates. Keep in mind that just wanting to add attributes to a symbol doesn't necessarily do anything dialog boxes won't recognize them and help you fill them in. First thing: what custom info are you wanting to see? Knowing that may change how you would approach this.
